Wedding Cake Information
*Buttercream Cakes-  $3.00 per serving           *Fondant Cakes-  $3.50 per serving
 
*Base pricing includes buttercream filling & frosting. Other filling & frosting flavors are considered “premium” and incur a $.25 additional charge per serving.
 
*Intricate designs (examples: 3-D cakes, sugar flowers, and gumpaste figures) are priced separately depending on the level of complexity. A quote will be provided at the time of order.
 
*Delivery and setup is included in the price of your wedding cake within Jackson County. Delivery to additional areas is also available for a fee of $.50 per mile (roundtrip).
 
*FREE one-year anniversary cake (6 inch cake) with the purchase of all wedding cakes. Skip the freezer-burned anniversary cake tradition and instead just call us a week prior to your anniversary. We’ll make sure you celebrate with a fresh, delicious cake.
 
*Cake cutting service is available for a charge of $40 for 2 hours. This includes
professional cutting and serving to your guests as well as boxing any leftover cake (if there is any!). Please be sure to ask your venue if this service is already provided.
 
*A $100 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve the date for your event. Payment in full is due 14 days prior to the event. Final guest count and final design arrangements are also due at this time. 
 
 
Tasting Consultations………
*Tastings are always free of charge at Legacy Cakes for weddings and other events of more than 50 guests. Tastings include samples of 3 flavors of cake for up to 4 guests. Flavor choices are selected by Legacy Cakes subject to availability. Requests to sample specific flavors are always welcome and Legacy Cakes will try to accomodate requests if possible.
 
On A Budget?
*At Legacy Cakes, we recognize the importance of cost-effectiveness and strive to provide options for our clients. We are pleased to offer “kitchen cakes” for a reduced charge of $2.00 per serving when you order a wedding cake with a minimum of 50 servings. Kitchen cakes are made to look the same as the main wedding cake once they are cut, but are frosted simply on the outside (not intricately decorated) and kept in the venue’s kitchen until it is time to serve cake to the guests. With this option there is a smaller centerpiece cake for photos and cutting, but it can save a considerable amount of money. For example:
 
Jen is expecting 200 guests for her wedding. If she chose a fondant designed wedding cake at $3.50 per serving for 200 guests, her total would be $700. If Jen were to order a smaller wedding cake (say, 75 servings) at $3.50 per serving ($262.50) then ordered 125 servings of kitchen cakes at $2.00 per serving ($250) her total cost would be $512.50. That is a savings of $187.50!
 
* Another popular and cost-effective solution is the option of gourmet cupcakes. Cupcakes are priced at $2.00/ea and can be offered in a variety of flavors and fillings in beautiful displays.  Again using the above example, Jen could choose to serve gourmet cupcakes for her 200 guests at $2.00 each for a total of $400 compared to an elaborate fondant cake for $700.
